I was checking the http://congress.org
I noticed they have a Calls to Action from Groups and Organization on the home page, When i tried to see if there are any Immigration related issues posted There were many like increasing H2A etc but nothing corresponding to Retrogression or GC waiting faced by thousands of immigrants.
There are 100s of bills waiting for Co-sponsors published on this website.
I felt we should do post about the issues faced by Thousands of Legal immigrants who are struck in retrogression or Per country limit.
This may be a good place to put as a number of representatives may view it and it is a good way for us to let the people know of the issues.
Any thoughts........

I got H1 this year. I was applied my ssn on oct 9 th. still i didn't get my ssn number. two days back ssn people called and told that "in online it is showing your EAd card. so we can give u ssn if you bring the EAD card". My question is if i give my EAD, will the h1 get cancelled. please suggest me.
Dont worry, showing EAD to SSA office will not cancel or invalid your H1B. Goto SSA office and tell them you have both H1B as well as EAD.

I haven't been following the news latetly.
Last year .. the h1 visas got filled on Oct 1st .. the day it opened.
Any idea what the status is this year?
If i need to apply for someone's fresh h1 visa, when can I do it?

My H1 is valid untill Aug 2010 and AP is pending. My spouse is on EAD and her AP approved. We plan to return back to US from a trip overseas in few weeks from now. Is there any issue if I use my H1 and spouse uses her AP. My AP is pending over 3 months now.
My H1 LCA has two work locations. Primary being NJ and PA secondary. NJ is the port of re-entry. I have letter from my company, which is based out of NJ and a client letter based in PA to support my continual services.
Help appreciated.

You can even take an unpaid job/volunteer to keep you clear of the 90 days unemployed clause.
I didnt know that even the OPT rules have changed now. This is a mess.
Now OPT also you cant remain unemployed for more than 90 days. Now this OPT is becoming like another H1B.

I am eager to hear reports from the first users. I hope it is a killer camera. Nikon is a great manufacturer as is Canon. Healthy competition will only make it even nicer for the users of both systems.
